Anna and Simon were amazing to work with! We could not have asked for a better photography team to take our wedding pictures. We are absolutely in love with our wedding pictures! Anna and Simon were brilliant from start to finish. We had around 500 guests for our wedding and around 200 for our pre-wedding event, and being able to work with a party this large can become very challenging for some vendors, but Anna and Simon were very easy to work with. They were very professional, friendly, efficient and took fabulous pictures of our events, despite the challenging weather. I love this team ! Anna was such a pleasure to work with! It was raining so hard on our wedding day and yet with her positive energy she helped me remain calm. She goes above and beyond to get that perfect shot. She makes sure she captures you in the most flattering way. At the end of the night I didn't want her to leave because she was just so wonderful.Even my husband who hates taking pictures was at ease with her team. They are expensive but you do get what you pay for and what you get is the greatest photos of one of the best moments of your life .

We can't say enough Amazing things about Anna and Simon of Salwa photography. They photographed our May 2016 Indian Wedding. And even though it rained, Anna (who was pregnant at the time!) and Simon were running around and working very hard to make our pictures still beautiful. And they were!! So artistic, different than any other wedding photos I have seen. In fact the pictures were chosen for the 2017 Fall edition of the Knot New York in Print!! As a bride it is very overwhelming choosing a photographer. We had seen many wedding pictures that look nice but not spectacular. If you want memorable , beautiful magazine quality pictures from a very kind and professional couple photography team, you must use Salwa!!

My husband and I were lucky enough to have found and worked with Anna and Simon Salwa last year. Selecting the right photographer/s for our wedding was one of the most important (and hardest) part to our wedding planning as we both had a different viewpoint as to what we liked...but with Anna and Simon they gave us exactly what we wanted - chic photography with the blend of photojournalistic style. The experience we had with them was more than we could ever ask for. From the moment we met, everything about them were very personable and sincere. I so appreciated Anna's personal touch in getting to know us before the engagement shoot, offering excellent advice on how to pose for photos (even for more "candid" shots!) so we looked our absolute best in all our photos. Although it's a small thing, I also really appreciated the delivery of our final album and flash drive - everything was beautifully packaged and felt good. Anna and Simon were the absolute best decision I made. With so many photographers to choose from, it’s hard to know who is the best for each bride and groom. For me, I wanted someone who would make me feel comfortable because I’m not a natural in front of the camera. Anna and Simon Salwa are true artists. As I was searching for my wedding photographer, I was simply blown away by the quality of their portfolio. B&W or color, photojournalistic or glamour - every moment is crisp, vivid, and detailed. Working with them was an absolute pleasure. We had an engagement photoshoot with them a few months before the wedding, which gave us a glimpse into their process. And we were amazed at how good those photos turned out. My fiancee and I had a destination wedding in California and a photographer was already lined up for us by our wedding planner. But we hired Salwa photography to take engagement photos for us in New York where we live, based purely on how their website looked and the reviews I had seen. This decision turned out to be one of the luckiest ones we made during the wedding planning process. At the time, my fiancee and I had little experience being photographed, and it took some cajoling to get us to pose in public while people were walking around watching us, but Anna and Simon had an amazing way of helping us to relax, physically adjusting our bodies into an wide array of positions, and then making us feel like we were doing a great job! The photos turned out amazing. We really looked like we were naturally able to create these very editorial poses. Without their help, we would never have been able to make up any of these things. We loved working with Anna and Simon so much that we cancelled our other photographer and hired them for our wedding in California. They spent the week up until the event scouting out locations for our photographs so everything went very smoothly. By then we were like old friends so on this nerve wracking day, the photographs were the easy part and we knew we were in good hands. It goes without saying that the photographs turned out amazing. I would say that if you're looking for a photographer, so many out there are able to catch perfect lighting, or edit you to look flawless, but few are able to create the scenes that Salwa does by literally adjusting your body into what feels like an an awkward pose, but looks not only natural, but graceful as well. It probably helps that Anna used to be a professional ballerina. They are a husband and wife team that work impressively well together. I think they have something extra to offer that most photographers don't. I've been in many weddings and photographers have never made an impression on me. But after our wedding, I had a number of guests comment about how nice Anna and Simon were, how professional they seemed, and even about how attractive they were. We really loved working with these two. They were a big part of our wedding experience and we will likely keep in touch with them for years to come.
